Why do we enjoy P.E? because we make it work!

This term in P.E (physical education) we played Badminton and floor hockey.  For badminton there are 15 courts and 30 students. To make this work, MJ divides us into groups of twos. (each group on a court) At first we may feel uncomfortable with our groups, but as the games go by we realize that we have to cooperate and communicate with each other.  To have MJ choose our partners was a good experience to work with somebody new!  Floor Hockey is similar to badminton as you have to cooperate too, instead we have to work with our table groups (6). Floor hockey requires team work and communication, for instant in floor hockey we have to dicuss our positions and rotations. It is very important that we take responsibility of our equipments and are aware of our surroundings so that we don't get hurt!

This term in P.E we had a special event, Sports Day. which happens every year in May.  Our whole school would participate in different activities, organized by the student council.  This gives students a chance to develop the skills of teamwork cooperating.

Division 15 also went camping in late April and early May, where we did activities taught by the Camp Sasamat staff including canoeing, archery, fire building/ woodchopping, and low ropes.  We were seperated into groups of 10 by our teachers from Begbie Elementary, in which we did activities with.

We develop more confidence and cooperations with others when we interact in P.E games. Why? because to make the game move forward we have to work together to make it work!  Ultimately, we as Division 15 really enjoyed P.E classes.
