Although the actualy experiment was only ten minutes long, alot of preparations were done during the weeks leading up to the experiment.  Everybody in the class was doing their part to help each of their own groups conduct a successful experiment while ensuring that they can record all the results of the experiment.  A big part in preparing for the experiment was cleaning out the experiment tanks.  Two lucky chosen ones from each group was set to the task.  They practically tackled their tanks with vinegar when really they only need about one spritz, then they were scrubbing like they have never done before...That was how hard they were working.  The straws and pipettes also had to be made to perfection.  Which meant that the straws had to let water run through smoothly and the pipettes had to be clean.
