These are sample video clips of the oscar presentations.  Each group member represented a character from the novel; they had to create a unique award for their character and compose and present an acceptance speech.  The purpose of this project was to investigate the characters in the novel in a creative, but yet analytical way.  Their awards, and their speeches had to reveal aspects of their characters, and the students had to make several references back to the novel.

If you have not read the novel, you may not appreciate or understand how well the students portray the characters from the novel.  The students in the following video clip, really capture the true nature of the characters, through their voice intonation, body language, and references to the text.
