In Language Arts, the class was learning about each letter in the alphabet; every lesson began with guessing what was in the mystery bag, guessing what letter the object in the bag began with, brainstorming other words that begin with the same letter and learning how to print the letter.
Worksheets of the day's letter would be distributed and the students would practice printing the letter. The worksheets always had a graphic of something that began with the day's letter but it was also connected to the idea of growing.
